The Party is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City given to protagonist Tommy Vercetti by Ken Rosenburg from his office in Washington Beach, Vice City.
Plot[]
Tommy goes to Ken Rosenburg's office trying to get some leads, following Sonny Forelli's orders. Ken tells Tommy that a sailor named Colonel Juan Garcia Cortez is having a party on his yacht and asks Tommy to go to the party for him. He would be the first person to start with since he set up the deal between the two families. Ken tells Tommy to stop by Rafael's to change into a suit and head over to the party to find information about the ambushed drug deal. Tommy drives to the marina and Cortez introduces to Tommy his daughter Mercedes Cortez, who introduces to Tommy some of the guests there. Mercedes then has Tommy drive her to The Pole Position Club, which ends with Mercedes saying goodbye to Tommy.
